When you’re a photographer you can’t just take an iPhone back to school picture….well I actually could since the iPhone cameras are getting so good….but that’s another story. 
I have been plotting how I can take a back to school picture each year that shows Jaxson’s growth now that we have a house. Of course, I instantly thought about the front steps- the part of our home that I love the most. Sadly the front steps were SO sunny that Jaxson was blinded and we could not take the pictures on them!
So here it is, near the steps- with the pup- our incredible 2nd grader who just came back from a great first day of school!!
And yes, we do our first day of school pictures after school as somebody did not want to go to school this morning…but he came home happy! Thank you Silva Valley Elementary School in El Dorado Hills for creating such a wonderful environment for our children.
