The first year of a baby’s life is incredible to photograph! I love being a Folsom baby photographer, witnessing a baby grow is such a privilege.
My photography style is documentary, capturing the baby in a very neutral and simple setting that allows the baby to stand out in the picture.
Baby Elliott came into the photography studio on Sutter in Folsom and was he ready to go! He smiled from start to finish, loving every second of his time in the photo spotlight!
Each stage has its own milestones that are all adorable in their own special ways. But there is something about the 6-month-old session where the baby can happily sit but not yet crawl away! First of all, it’s easier on everyone helping but besides that, they are so proud to be sitters!! They can sit and smile, seems simple enough but there is something about that combo that makes for such great photographs! 
Mama brought in one of his toys for the photoshoot! I love how it is a classic toy in a neutral color that doesn’t distract from the baby. 
Hats!! Babies in hats!!! Especially hats we often see men in, it’s the cutest!
I have a thing for feet…well baby feet! Your babies feet will certainly always be documented!
Moms be prepared to give lots of kisses- though I never have to ask a Mom to do that!
