*FAVORITE WEDDING EVER*
A full circle moment for my life and career, 32 years in the making! 32 years ago I was Abby’s babysitter. Abby was an adorable baby with the sweetest dimples EVER and she still has them today!
Abby’s Mom, Kathy, was my swim coach when I was a kid. She treated me with so much love she quickly became one of my favorite people.
My bonds to Kathy’s family grew deeper over the years. Eventually, Abby moved to California and became one of my son’s favorite people! Layers upon layers of memories fill my heart up with so much joy when I think about the Z family!
And one day I got a text from Abby discussing a guy she met… Pierre. It was clear that this guy was special and upon meeting Pierre, it was obvious that they would be a great match! Pierre and Abby are both physical therapists and share many of the same passions in life such as hiking, traveling and delicious burritos!
Often, I secretly imagined myself photographing Abby & Pierre’s wedding. So when Abby asked me to photograph their San Francisco City Hall wedding my ultimate photo dream came true!
Abby and Pierre had their ceremony at the stunning San Francisco City Hall. Abby’s parents, Pierre’s mother and cousin all the way from Belgium, Greg and myself were in attendance to laugh, cry and celebrate! That was not the end of it though, the next evening Abby & Pierre hosted an amazing party in their hometown of Santa Cruz for their California friends and family. Two weeks after that they had another celebration with their New York friends and family!
