Erin and Steve left LA and drove up the coast of California looking for the perfect wedding venue. They had almost found one in Carmel but decided to keep heading north. When they arrived at Seascape Resort they knew they really found the perfect place for their wedding! Erin and Steve are both lovers of nature and were blown away by the natural beauty surrounding Seascape Resort.
Erin got ready with the ladies while Steve got ready across the street at a private residence. I loved Erin’s dress- the bead work and also the contrasting wave-like frills on the bottom of the dress!
So sweet, Erin got Steve a special watch for him to wear.
Over at the bluff, the sun was starting to peek out just at the perfect time!
Steve started off the procession…
…followed by the Grandparents, Erin’s brother escorting their Mom and Steve’s parents.
The wedding party…
…and the Best Man escorting the Maid of Honor, Erin’s little sister.
Next up was Steve’s neices, the sweetest and most giggly flower girls ever!
Here comes the beautiful bride, escorted by her proud stepfather!
Married!!
Everyone!
The wedding party!
Surrounding Seascape Resort is a bluff lined with beautiful Cypress trees. Since moving here I have adored them and Erin immediately loved them too. When I met with Erin the day before her wedding we made a plan to get on to that bluff to take some pictures! Coordinating with Greg via cell phone I was able to be shooting from the other side of the bluff. People may have thought we were nuts but the results were worth it!
I then scrambled up the hill and joined Erin and Steve on the bluff where we were all engulfed by sea reeds. It was pretty incredible!
Adventure bride! Loved working with Erin!
We risked the edge and took a peek at the magnificent ocean!
Drinks and a golf cart ride to the reception!
The reception room looked so pretty and was ready for a big celebration!
The Mr. & Mrs!
Erin’s little sister started off the toasts and was so adorable! She immediately started to cry and then was laughing so hard that she was crying! The whole toast was the sweetest most joyful toast ever!!
Next up was Steve’s best man who started his toast off saying he couldn’t believe they were allowing him to give a toast! It was hysterical!
Next up was Erin’s stepfather whose speech left the whole room feeling pretty emotional.
Steve’s brother perfectly roasted Steve with the help of those sweet little flower girls. They handed out incriminating evidence such as bottom right image. This is Steve when he was younger in what seems to be a dance studio picture? Steve you did seem to have very good moves on the dance floor, it must have been all those dance classes.
Last up was Steve’s dad who said he had roasted Steve enough over the years and took the opportunity to wish the newlyweds the best!
The sun was setting and we ran out to the beach to get some sunset shots. The sunset itself was hiding behind a fog bank, so although we did not get the perfect sunset it was still really pretty! It’s always a gamble with that Northern California fog!
With minutes left of daylight to go, we headed to the train tracks.
When we arrived back it was time for Erin and Steve to have a beautiful first dance.
Erin then danced with her stepdad.
The dance floor then opened up and the incredible Chris Cali from Cali Entertainment had the dance floor packed for the rest of the night!
This little sweetie wasn’t so sure about this!
I swear this wedding had the record for the cutest kids!
Why stop at cake when you can have cookies and cheesecake and taffy and chocolate covered strawberries and brownies and lemon bars and and and!!!
Erin and Steve cut their cake….
…then Erin tossed the bouquet that was perfectly caught by little sis!
The crowd insisted on Toto’s “Africa”- everyone went nuts!
Erin and Steve danced the night away and then headed off to Italy and Switzerland for their honeymoon! What a perfect way to kick off their marriage!
Big thanks to Seascape Resort for doing such a wonderful job making the wedding flow so perfectly and for such delicious food!
