Woman’s March Santa Cruz
On January 21, 2017 I was honored to join hundreds of thousands of woman, men and children across America, and also in at least 7 other countries, in the historical Woman’s March. I took part in the march held in Santa Cruz, my local home town. The police reported that we had over 10,000 marches just here in Santa Cruz!
When I headed out that day I knew there would be tons of woman. I expected to see a lot of pink. What warmed my heart was the amount of men also out there supporting the woman of America. Thank you men! And off course the children, the beautiful children with their signs. They are the true reason why this march happened, for they are our future.
The Woman’s March was peaceful- everywhere. It was reported that across the whole nation there was not one single arrest. Enjoy the photographs, I hope they give you hope and will fuel you to take a stand for what you believe in!
With cheers form the crowd, the masses marched form City Hall down Pacific Street, passed Planned Parenthood and then onto a _______________ park.
“Real men are not afraid of string woman!” Hell ya!
Gotta love the sign that read ” This is not what we meant when we said Orange is the New Black”
“Only Love Can Drive Out Hate” MLK
More Love More Inclusion More Respect More Peace
Looking back on it now, it seem’s that Mama Nature was marching with us as the day called for horrible rain and ended up being dry for the march! Which is a true blessing as all those Pussycat hats would not be so great soggy from the rain!
These young girls just broke my heart. Wasn’t this all already fought for? Weren’t these matters a matter of the past?
