There’s something powerful about a headshot that feels both professional and real life—and that’s exactly what we set out to capture during my recent session with Dr. Jessica Haskins here in El Dorado Hills.
Dr. Haskins is a psychiatrist who works with both adults and adolescents, offering thoughtful, compassionate care to those navigating life’s challenges. From the moment you meet her, it’s clear that she is warm, approachable, and genuinely present—a great listener who makes you feel heard.
Rather than opting for a traditional studio-only setting, we chose to photograph her outdoors in the courtyard of my studio. My studio is located in a beautiful courtyard offering the best of both worlds—giving clients the option of beautiful natural outdoor portraits or polished indoor studio images, all in one session. Like Jessica, some prefer just outdoors. Some prefer just the studio. I love having options for my clients to choose from!
