Dana & Dave’s Wedding!!

What woman would not be THRILLED that her groom was so excited to get married the next day that he screamed it from the modern rooftops?!  Aka Facebook!

…and Dana is just as smitten, these two are absolutely adorable together and we were so honored to be there for their wedding day!

Dana got ready for her wedding day at her parents house. Nothing makes me happier than starting off the day in this setting- its so personal and really sets the scene for understanding the bride a little bit more.

Greetings from a sweet little flower girl!

Something borrowed (Mom’s bracelet), something blue (patch sewn inside the wedding dress), something old (Dana’s grandfather’s lucky penny that was later tapped inside her shoe- this is also a tradition that all the woman of this family have done on their wedding day) and something new (the dress)!

Even Bella was dressed in her best for the wedding day!

I love this image of Dana standing in the doorway of her childhood home, which was also her Mom’s childhood home.  How amazing is that?  And those eyes, I bet Dana can get away with a ton with those gorgeous eyes!

Meanwhile the men got ready at Dave’s home.

Whats makes the bridesmaids happy?  Looking hot in their sensational cheetah heels!

I’m just crazy about kids in weddings- they make for the greatest images!  You can just feel the excitement and curiosity on these kids as the church starts to fill up!

Such an amazing moment captured by Greg.  Dana’s Dad helps her out of the car, across her eyes you can see a spectrum of emotions as she is about to marry Dave.

As Dana and  Dave were exchanging their vows the stained glass windows were glowing with sunlight!

The little flower girl was praying with all her might- while her brothers, the ring bearers were bored stiff!

A perfect team capture- Dana and Dave leaving the church and then being greeting by their friends and family as man and wife!

After the ceremony we headed over to the lovely Snug Harbor for some portraits.  This bridal party was stunning and cooperative- just what I like!

While we were shooting there was moments when the clouds opened up and let the sun shine brightly through to help create moments of such beauty.

It might look like Dave is rocking out and well, he is.  There was a festival happening at Snug Harbor and Steve Augeri the former lead singer of Journey was playing!!

Off they go to The Staaten for their cocktail hour- so happy and so inspiring to photograph!

Dana and Dave have their first dance…

…while Dave’s Mom and Dana’s Mom and Dad stand by and watch with their hearts full!

As their guests were invited to join the dance floor there was this precious moment of Dana’s Mom just watching her daughter through the crowd- taking in the moment of seeing her daughter on one of the happiest days of her life.

The parent dances were very emotional with huge heartfelt hugs at the end.

And it didn’t stop there, Dana’s sisters had the whole room choked up when they struggled to deliver their touching speech.

On the right Dave raises his glass and you can see the ring he was wearing that belonged to his father.

But eventually it was time for the tears to dry and Dave got the party stayed with his big celebratory smile!

These two danced and sang the night away to the amazing music played by Platinum Entertainment!  These guys did such an incredible job- they had Greg and I dancing around with our cameras all night too!

Dana and Dave added a unique dance at the reception- Dave danced with his sister while Dana danced with her brother, what a great idea!

Their wedding had all the elements of a FANTASTIC wedding, such as signature dance moves…

…romance on the dance floor…

…shenanigans with the cake…

…exhausted ring bearers……and the happiest bride and groom you may ever meet!  Congratulations Dana & Dave!!!!
